New Facebook profile: Like? (blog)

In December, Facebook rolled out its new profile design to its community and allowed users a month to preview and update their profiles in order to get ready for the big switch. That month has passed, and today, you might notice that your Facebook page is sporting a new look. The horizontal tabs at the top of your profile page have been removed, and photos and customizable personal data (like occupation, school, etc.) are displayed more prominently instead.Some Facebook users have spoken out with displeasure. But this isn’t the first time Facebook has introduced a change that some of its users didn’t like. At least this time they weren’t as secretive about it. Seems like they’ve learned a lot since the Facebook beacon , 2009 change in privacy settings, and Facebook places debacles.While you might not love the change, it’s probably not something you’ll quit Facebook or delete your account over. And hey, at least now you can make a cool panoramic photo from the tagged strip that shows at the top of your new Facebook profile! Screenshot & tutorial by
